* Crankclockwiseto dischargeto the left.

* Crankcounterclockwiseto dischargeto the right.

Ignition Key

The ignitionkeyisa safetydevise.It mustbefully

insertedin orderfor the engineto start. Removethe

ignitionkeywhenthe snowthrowerisnot inuse.

Donot turnthe ignitionkeyinan attemptto startthe

engine.Doingso maycauseit to break.

Clean-Out Tool

to clear a clogged chute assem-

-- bly. Shut off engine and remain

behind handles until all moving

parts have stopped before

unclogging.

The chuteclean-outtool isfastenedto the topof the

augerhousingwitha mountingclip.Thetool isdesigned

to clear acloggedchuteassembly.

NOTE: Thisitemis fastenedwitha cabletie to the rear

of the augerhousingat the factory.Cutthe cabletie

beforeoperatingthe snowthrower.

Skid Shoes

Positionthe skidshoesbasedonsurfaceconditions.

Adjustupwardfor hard-packedsnow.Adjustdownward

whenoperatingongravelorcrushedrocksurfaces.

Recoil Starter Handle

Thishandleis usedto manuallystart the engine.

Electric Starter Button

Pressingtheelectricstarterbuttonengagesthe engine's

electricstarterwhenpluggedintoa 120Vpowersource.

Electric Starter Outlet

Requirestheuse of a three-prongoutdoorextensioncord

anda 120Vpowersource/wailoutlet.

Augers

Whenengaged,the augersrotateanddraw snowinto the

augerhousing.

Chute Assembly
