CAUTION:Alcoholblendedfuels(calledgasoholorusing
ethanolor methanol)canattractmoisturewhichleadsto
separationandformationof acidsduringstorage.Acidic
gas can damagethe fuel systemof anenginewhile in
storage.
To avoidengineproblems,the fuel systemshouldbe
emptiedbeforestoragefor 30daysorlonger.Follow
theseinstructionsto prepareyour snowthrowerfor
storage:

stabilizercontainer.Runengineat least 10minutesafter
addingstabilizerto allow it to reachthe carburetor.Do not
draincarburetorif usingfuel stabilizer.

Removethe sparkplugand pourone(1)ounceof
engineoilthroughthe sparkplugholeintothe cylinder.
Coversparkplugholewitha ragandcranktheengine
severaltimesto distributethe oil. Replacesparkplug.

storage.
Preparing Snow Thrower
Whenstoringthe snowthrowerinan unventilatedor
metalstorageshed,care shouldbe takento rustproof
the equipment.Usinga lightoil or silicone,coatthe
equipment,especiallyanychains,springs,bearings
and cables.
