Assembling the Tongue
Attaching the Jack Stand
Thejackstandisshippedinthe transportposition.
1. Removethespringclip andclevispinand pivot
thejack standtowardsthe groundto the operating
position.
2. Securethe jackstandin positionwiththe clevispin
andspringclip.SeeFigure3-1.

1. Withthe logsplitterstillstandingupright,removetwo
hexboltsandhex nutsfromthe tankbracket.See
Figure3-2.
2. Aligntheholes inthe tonguewiththe holesin the tank
bracketandsecurewithhardwarejust removed.See
Figure3-2.
NOTE:Highpressurehose mustbeabovethetongue
assembly.
Connecting Cylinder to Beam
Thelogsplitteris shippedwiththe beamin thevertical
position.
1. Pulloutthe verticalbeamlock, rotateit back,and
pivotthe beamto the horizontalpositionuntil it locks.
SeeFigure3-3.
2. Disconnectthe dislodgerfromthe beamweld bracket
by removingthe sixhex screws.SeeFigure3-4.
