Immunochemical Tests(FIT)

Test provides high sensitivity and ease of use with a simple, water-based collection

method designed to be more patient-friendly. The patented brush sampling replaces

unpleasant fecal collection or smearing. No dietary or medicinal restrictions, enhanced

specificity and sensitivity for more productive colonoscopies. The InSure

FIT

™

based on the immunochemical detection of human hemoglobin (Hb) as an indicator of

blood in the stool. The assay uses a monoclonal antibody to capture Hb on a test strip

during test development. Since globin does not survive passage through the upper

gastrointestinal (GI) tract, the presence of globin in the stool indicates bleeding in the

colon or rectum. Clinical studies have demonstrated high sensitivity and specificity of

the InSure

test in colorectal cancer screening.
